The year 2024 was marked by landmark judicial decisions, significant legislative reforms, and evolving workforce challenges.
As we reflect on the monumental shifts of 2024 in health care and employment law, we are proud to welcome you to Epstein Becker Green Connect, our alumni community. This past year was marked by landmark judicial decisions, significant legislative reforms, and evolving workforce challenges—all areas where Epstein Becker Green was strategically positioned to create outsized value for our clients.
From addressing staffing shortages and financial needs for health care entities to navigating the aftershocks of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo decision—which eliminated Chevron deference—we stood beside our clients as a committed advisor. Our newly formed Agency Action Challenges Team has already helped clients overturn regulations using the post-Chevron framework, signaling new ways to challenge agency overreach. Additionally, our Litigation & Business Disputes practice rose to new heights, earning Epstein Becker Green recognition as a finalist for "Law Firm of the Year in Litigation."
Throughout our 51-year history, we’ve embraced challenges as opportunities to bring innovative, strategic solutions to our clients, and 2024 was no different. We expanded on the West Coast, with a revitalized San Francisco office, a strengthened presence in Portland, and significant growth in Los Angeles. These developments, alongside our deep roots across the East Coast, ensure that our clients—both long-standing and new—benefit from our exceptional range of knowledge and experience.
Whether this is your first year engaging with Epstein Becker Green Connect or you’ve been with us for decades, we are honored by your continued relationship with the firm. Here’s to navigating the opportunities and challenges ahead in 2025, building on our shared values of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
We look forward to staying connected and helping you achieve personal and professional success.
Best regards,
