John F. Fullerton III Is Appointed Senior Counsel, Employment Law, Peloton Interactive

Peloton Interactive added John F. Fullerton III as Senior Counsel, Employment Law, in 2024. Fullerton leads employment law initiatives, providing strategic legal counsel to support the company’s dynamic workforce. He reports to Peloton’s Chief Legal Officer and contributes to the development and implementation of employment compliance strategies. Previously, John served as an attorney at Epstein Becker Green, where he spent 13 years advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including workplace policies, litigation strategy, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

David Weader Is Named Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Commonwealth Care Alliance

Former Epstein Becker Green Associate David Weader became Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Commonwealth Care Alliance in May 2023, following 16 years as the Associate Chief Legal Officer and Regulatory Affairs Officer at Geisinger Health Plan. David has also honed his experience with roles at Coventry Health Care and the Cleveland Clinic.

Julianna S. Gonen Advocates for Reproductive and LGBTQ Rights at the National Level

Epstein Becker Green alum Julianna (Julie) S. Gonen is the Director of Federal Policy at the National Center for Lesbian Rights and, for the past 13 years, has been engaging in federal policy and advocacy work around reproductive and LGBTQ rights. In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, she has been working to highlight threats to assisted reproduction—a key means of LGBTQ family building—from state abortion bans and personhood efforts. In February 2024, following the Alabama Supreme Court ruling that extrauterine frozen embryos had the legal status of children, Julie was invited to the White House for a discussion of the importance of ensuring access to fertility services—including in vitro fertilization—in the wake of that decision. Tina Rao Excels in Employee Benefits Law and Earns Klepper Forum Fellowship

Epstein Becker Green alum Tina Rao is pursuing an employee benefits certificate at Georgetown Law’s LLM program. She recently received recognition as a Klepper Forum Fellow at the Inhouse Benefits Counsel Network. Tina currently works at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association as Assistant General Counsel.

Heath Edwards, a former Epstein Becker Green Member of the Firm, has joined Compass Group USA as a Senior Labor Counsel.

Kamil Gadja, a former Epstein Becker Green Associate, has joined FanDuel as an Employment Counsel Manager.

Megan George, a former Epstein Becker Green Senior Counsel, is working at Demant, a world-leading hearing health care and technology group, as Senior Legal Counsel – Healthcare Transactions.

Brock Olson, a former Epstein Becker Green Associate, is now Assistant Director of the Sudreau Global Justice Institute at Pepperdine University.

EBG alum, Tina Rao, is pursuing an employee benefits certificate at Georgetown Law’s LLM program. She recently received recognition as a Klepper Forum Fellow at the Inhouse Benefits Counsel Network. Tina currently works at National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) as Assistant General Counsel.

In July 2023, alumna Shirley Ann Higuchi, JD, Chair of the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation (HMWF), and Associate Chief of Professional Practice for Justice, Legal & State Advocacy with the American Psychological Association (APA), hosted the Chief Judge of the DC Superior Court, Anita Josey-Herring; the President of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, Rawle Andrews Jr.; and a delegation of additional judges and lawyers at the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center. Over two days, the distinguished group toured the site of the former Japanese American incarceration camp that imprisoned a total of just over 14,000 people without due process during World War II. In 2024, Higuchi will host the HMWF’s grand opening of the Mineta-Simpson Institute during the annual pilgrimage to the Japanese American incarceration site in Cody, Wyoming.
