We are always on the lookout for ways to prepare our clients for what’s ahead—including through new products, enhanced technology, or go-to resources.
Halting Harassment
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, we saw instances of harassment transitioning into the remote setting we found ourselves working in. With employees returning to offices, worksites, and other physical locations, we will undoubtedly see an uptick in harassment claims.
EBG's e-learning solution, Halting Harassment: Rules of the Road for a Respectful and Inclusive Workplace, provides virtual training through your learning management system wherever employees may be located—in the workplace or at home.
Halting Harassment® is compliant with employee training requirements in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, and New York, including New York City. New scenarios specific to virtual work and the health care setting will assist employers in maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment while employees reacclimate to in-person work.

Highest accreditation for cloud security and information
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) named EBG as one of the first law firms to achieve ISO/IEC 27017:2015 certification, a strict code of practice governing the safe and effective operation of cloud services. The Firm also retained the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for our Information Security Management System (ISMS), which it has held since 2018. This means that our information and security systems were once again subjected to rigorous audits and met the standards for the highest accreditations available for information protection and cloud security.
This accomplishment demonstrates our investment in and dedication to information security, as well as our priority to protect our clients’ sensitive information. We continuously look for new and innovative ways to increase our security posture and protect against cybercrime—adding ISO 27017 takes our information security to the next level, one that few organizations or law firms have reached.

Telemental Health Laws App
Each year, we update our app and survey of federal and state telehealth laws, regulations, and policies for mental/behavioral health practitioners and stakeholders. In 2021, federal and state governments maintained many of the legal and regulatory flexibilities that were put into place during the COVID-19 pandemic to increase access to and use of telehealth services. However, we found that this greater government support and attention comes at a price: higher risk of fraud and abuse enforcement.
Wage & Hour Guide for Employers App
This easy-to-navigate app puts federal and state wage and hour laws at the fingertips of employers, in-house counsel, and human resources personnel. Wage and hour law is always evolving. No fewer than 46 states (or the localities within them) had changes to their overtime, minimum wage, or child labor laws that became effective January 1, 2021. Our annual update to the app, available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, reflects these significant changes.
